Over de Super Bowl LX
De Super Bowl is een jaarlijks terugkerend sportevenement waarin de twee beste teams uit de NFL (National Football League) het tegen elkaar opnemen voor de felbegeerde trofee, de Vince Lombardi Trophy. De Super Bowl staat bekend als een van de grootste sportevenementen van het jaar, waar meer dan 100 miljoenen mensen wereldwijd naar kijken.
Halftime Show Super Bowl 2026
Naast de wedstrijd zelf is het evenement beroemd om de spectaculaire Halftime Show, waarin een grote artiest optreedt. Dit jaar zal de koning van Latin Trap, Bad Bunny optreden.

Het prijzengeld voor het winnende team van de Super Bowl 2026 is $178.000 per speler, wat ongeveer gelijk is aan €150.120. De spelers van het verliezende team hebben recht op $103,000, wat gelijkstaat aan ongeveer €86.870 per speler.
Super Bowl LX Romeinse cijfers
De editie van de Super Bowl wordt altijd aangeduid met Romeinse cijfers. Dit jaar is dat “LX”, oftewel de 60e editie. Maar hoe zit dat nou precies?
Romeinse cijfers worden als volgt geschreven:
- I = 1
- V = 5
- X = 10
- L = 50
Plaats je een kleiner getal vóór een groter getal, dan trek je het kleinere getal af van het grotere getal. In het geval van LX is L = 50 en X = 10. Dus LX = 50 + 10 = 60.
